Revels Monday

The people of Box have been revelling since the Middle Ages - come and join in a fun-filled family fete celebrating the best of village life. To find out more about the history of the event visit Box People and Places.

from 12pm - 5pm

Where: Box Rec

Box Revels Superheroes Parade:

11.45am - Superhero Parade begins (meet on the green at Bargates, Box, in your super fancy dress. Prizes for best costume).

12:15pm - Superhero Parade arrives at Box Rec.

12.20pm - Winners awarded prizes for best costumes.

Box Revels Fete:

12:15pm - Main stage events begin.

12.15-2pm - Live music acts.

12:30pm - Dog Show Registration.

2pm - Superheroes kids assault course.

2.30pm - Dave Hickory (magician and balloon artist) on stage.

3:00pm - Wife Carrying Race.

3:30pm - Tug-o-war.

4:30pm-ish - Close (volunteers to help clear up are very welcome).

Sock wrestling; fairground rides; food outlets and tasty treats; lots of stalls; face-painting; Chuffy the train; bouncy castle; coconut shy; and much, much more....
